ATTRACTIONS IN CINCINNATI/NORTHERN KENTUCKY

Come to Cincinnati for a great reunion of the 98th Bomb Group/Wing Veterans Association.  The Queen City has a lot to offer with a downtown feel and only moments away from Northern Kentucky and all of the wonderful entertainment it has to offer.  The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area has a long German heritage and you can celebrate Oktoberfest at the Hofbrauhaus and have a liter of authentic German beer.

Just about 30 minutes north of Cincinnati you can visit A food lovers paradise - a funhouse maze of a store - Foodieland - No matter what you call it, Jungle Jim's is arguable the nation's most unique supermarket mega store.  Jungle Jim's International Market has over six acres of wine, beer, food, exotic meats, cigars, gourmet cheeses, fresh seafood, spices, bakery items, and more.

Folks can then travel through time at the Cincinnati Museum Center and speak with a housewife during World War II making do with rationing, or step on board our WWII era streetcar to find out about Cincinnati during the 1940's from the conductor.  Visitors at the Cincinnati Museum Center can also see a model of the city of Cincinnati from 1900s - 1940s with working trains and inclines; this exhibit really puts the city in motion.

Cincinnati has a lot of long standing traditions, including steamboats on the Ohio river and home to the first professional baseball team.  Take a ride on the BB Riverboats to see how it would feel to be a conductor on this historic river.  During this ride you will be informed on the changes Cincinnati has seen over the years and what is coming in the future.

From Steamboats to baseball, Cincinnati's history is both rich and diverse.  Cincinnati has something to offer everyone; we can't wait to see you at the 98th Bomb Group Wing Veterans Association's Annual Reunion October 14-19, 2008.
