BROTHER BOB”S WAR: By Ralph W. Ekwall
Although this book is about “that other airplane” the B-17, it contains many
comparisons with the B-24 regarding performance and other aspects. One chapter
is devoted to ACES, which compares bomber gunners to fighter pilot aces. I think
this is the first time I have seen this subject presented in this way. This book
should be of particular interest to all gunners. Reviewed by Herb Harper.
